Michael Jackson and Corey Feldman
I just saw the Corey Feldman interview on 20/20. Gag me. I mean, put the whole
Michael Jackson pedophile story aside for a minute: maybe he is, maybe he isn't. I don't know.
What I do know is that Corey Feldman has been mostly forgotten for 10 years or more. As soon as he hit puberty he was finished.
So now he's releasing an album with his band and getting ready to do a play in New York. I see his shocking revelation that Jackson had books laying around with pictures of naked people in them as a way to get his face before the public in hopes of boosting sales. I mean really: what did 20/20 give him? 20 minutes of air time? That's worth millions in publicity. What better way to kick off your next marginal project?
Corey Feldman is a brat. He's always been a brat. He sought and won legal emancipation from his parents, the brat. He quit getting hired when his youthful cuteness
waned and his reputation as a difficult drugged out liability on the set grew. And now he trots out before all America with his squeeky clean new son saying he would kick the ass of any man who showed those kinds of pictures to his kid.
Corey does admit that his one time best friend, Michael Jackson, never touched him. He says Michael slept in a different room, behind a locked door, when he had sleepovers with him. All he really points to is that Michael had books of pcitures of naked people, one, specifically, of
people with venereal disease. So what were these books? Medical texts? Fine art books? I didn't get that they were Hustler or Drummer.
Michael Jackson may be one evil predatory seducer of youth. But he may not be, too. What I'm certain of is Corey Feldman is a headline grabbing, low talent, washed up wannabe, trying to leverage the media frenzy over Jackson to his own benefit. It's disgusting.

when you have kids and someone shows them graphic pictures at 13, look back at what you said in this article.

I gather from your comment, Mary-Anne, that you missed my point. It's ok: we all tend to read through our own spin and agenda. I never said it was ok for Michael Jackson or anyone else to leave porn around for kids to see. It's not. In fact, it's evil. What I said was I didn't know if MJ did it or not. My point was: that Corey Feldman (and dozens of other fame starved faces) would capitalize on the misfortune of a former friend to boost his own career.
